Catching a bus

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school
• do not park in the bus or disabled zones
• if parking on the opposite side of the road from the school, you must walk across and meet children on the school side. Students must not cross the road unaccompanied.

Parking is available on Momalong and Denison Street.

For parents and carers of younger children

Discuss with your child how to be safe when:

• walking
• in the car
• waiting for, travelling on, and getting off the bus
• riding bikes, scooters and skateboards.

Also talk about and practise:

• safe travel routes
• plans for when unexpected things happen
• what to do in wet weather.
